Voices of Hope provides free and confidential support groups for victims of Domestic Violence. These weekly drop-in groups are for those currently in abusive relationships who may be deciding whether to stay or go, as well as for those who have left the abusive relationship and are seeking support to rebuild their lives. Free childcare is provided on-site for all support group members.

Our Domestic Violence support groups meet at Voices of Hope, 2545 N St. on the following days and times:

Tuesdays – 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

Saturdays – 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Support groups for victims of sexual assault and abuse are also provided.

Several vendors are supporting Voices of Hope throughout April by taking part in a “Virtual Vendor Showcase.”  Each vendor will donate a percentage of the cost of your on-line purchases to Voices of Hope. Bowlers of all levels are welcome. You can get a team of 5 to 6 bowlers together or register as an individual and we will place you on a team.

Cost: $25 per bowler: Includes bowling 2 games, shoe rental, a team snack, and a tournament t-shirt for each bowler. There will be prizes for the highest and lowest team scores, best team uniform and best team name. It is all fun and for a good cause.

Voices of Hope’s primary focus is on the provision of crisis intervention, advocacy and prevention services for domestic violence, sexual assault and incest. Services are provided to victims and their families. While the majority of the adult victims are women, all of our services except groups are provided to male victims.

In 2010, we received over 12,200 client-related calls.
In 2010, we provided face-to-face services to 2099 unduplicated clients.
In 2010, we had 280 clients attending our support groups.
